Happy Halloween! It was a lo-o-o-o-ong day shift today, but I only have 4 this time, so that's a plus.
I had my usual porridge for brekkie, then a salad with fake crab for lunch. I had my raspberries and yogurt this afternoon and I having my pork chop and stuffing dinner. Very yummy!
One thing I keep forgetting to post from Friday: When I went to the salon to get my hair done, I've lolst enough weight that the gown they give you to keep your clothes nice actually closed! The last time I was there, there was a sizeable gap in the front, so this is definitely a positive result. Also, I didn't have to wedge my bum in and out of the chair! All this is very motivating.
And under the headfing "Better Living Thru Chemistry": Prior to the cruise last month, I had myself seriously hooked on Red Bull to stay awake for 12 hours and then on Tylenol PM to come down off all that sugar and caffeine (and other things). So when I got back from the cruise, I cut the Red Bull, cold-turkey, which is a shame, because I quite like Red Bull! I also cut the Tylenol PM although I have a mild case of insomnia as a result. I'm resisting taking any of the Tylenol PM to tide me thru the insomnia.
I'm going to try to get some sleep tonight after my stretches. This is the end of Week 5 of The Plan, so I have weigh-in #6 in the morning. Yippee!
