Down 71 lbs! Yippee!
It finally cleared up for a few minutes this afternoon as I was getting off work, so I was able to come home and grill some chicken, steak burgers and veggies. I had a couple of the burgers and some veggies along with some fat-free Greek yogurt with some Ox Roast (a fabulous grill seasoning from the Sonoma Cheese Factory) mixed in. I started out using the Ox Roast on beef, but have discovered it's wonderful on chicken, pork and veggies, too. Very yummy--and it mixes well with fat-free Greek yogurt, too!
I ordered a pair of shoes from Ulla Popken in a 9 WW (the size I wear in Easy Spirit), but they're huge! I'll send them back and try an 8. I wanted to wear my new leggings tomorrow but I'm not sure how they'll look with trainers...
Hi Gretchen, Havent been on here in awhile cause we were on vacation in the Finger Lakes, but finally am checking things out tonight and I saw your recent posts. You continually amaze me. 71 pounds is freaking awesome. They're GONE, Bye, bye to those 71 pounds and Im sure you're feeling better and looking fabulous. You should get some kind of award for accomplishing that already, so Im bestowing an honorary award on you. You must be so proud. I told you that you have motivated me and I finally lost a few pounds. Still want to lose more by Jonathan's wedding next year so I hope I stay on track.
ReplyDeleteWe did have a great time at the wineries and going all around the different Finger Lakes. My only complaint was there were so many wineries and so little time. It was nice to get away though but now its back to reality. Well its late but I did want to say hello and also Congrats on the recent wt loss/ Keep up the good work/
Lots of love to you and yours , Linee
Thanks, Linee! I think the secret is to find a diet that works without making you too crazy. I'd like to check out the Finger Lakes sometime--sounds fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs, Gretchen
